The Beholder's eye gazes carefully towards the sky. It can see all, feel all but do nothing. For its fingers have grown weak from petty strife and can no longer embrace its kin amongst the heavens. It is a pale blue dot in the crowd, awestruck by the beauty and terrified of its own insignificance. Even so, it will grow; if not to become one with the giants then to survive. Only the beauty of creation can elevate the beholder above the natural state of entropy, and it is only through the beholder's eye that this creation can be appreciated.
